Have dancing planned at your event? Contact our Chancellor and we will help promote it — and connect you with instructors, dance masters, and musicians.
The Academie participates in events throughout the Kingdom of Atlantia year-round. Below are the recurring opportunities where you are most likely to find dancing.
University of Atlantia
University of Atlantia is held multiple times a year — the first weekend in February (online), the second weekend in June (hybrid), and the third weekend in September (hybrid). The Dance Academie coordinates a full track of classes covering everything from learning specific dances to discussions of dance history.
Contact the University Track Coordinator if you would like to teach! Watch for email and Facebook announcements when pre-registration opens.
Atlantian 12th Night
There is traditionally dancing at Atlantian 12th Night, held each January. If you are an event steward planning 12th Night, please reach out to our Chancellor to help arrange a dance master for the ball.
Want Dancing at Your Event?
Dancing is fun, inclusive of all ages, and can happen during the day or after feast. The Academie can provide:
- Instructors to teach dance classes
- Dance masters to run a ball or event dancing
- Assistance arranging musicians
- Help planning the event dancing program
