Join the Academie
Membership is free and open to all. As defined in our Charter, membership is extended to anyone who wishes to participate — regardless of skill level, background, or experience.
If you love dancing, would like to learn, play dance music, or simply want to connect with others who share a passion for period dance, you belong here. The Academie is all-inclusive and welcoming to newcomers and experienced dancers alike.
How to Join
Joining is as simple as connecting with the community. We recommend doing both:

Our most active community space. Share questions, photos, and discussion — and hear about dance events and opportunities as they come up.
Join the Facebook GroupEmail List
A low-volume announcement list (a few emails per month). Great for staying informed even if you're not on Facebook. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Join the Email ListEmail List
The Academie email list serves as a means of communication between events — announcements, last-minute changes, links to useful resources, and general dance discussion.
